“Do I Have A Problem?” A Process Group For Potentially Problematic Behaviors
If you’re wondering whether you might have a problem with alcohol, drugs, gaming, pornography, or any other potentially addictive pattern of behavior, then this is the group for you. You can think of this group as a sort of “prehab,” an early way to intervene before a problem gets out of hand, or as a first step towards confirming that you might need a higher level of care.
In a safe and confidential setting, group members will explore how and why they engage in current behaviors, examine the extent to which their behaviors might be problematic, and engage in interventions to implement change if desired. This group also gives members the opportunity to practice communication, socialization, boundary setting, and emotional regulation skills.
Schedule: Every other Thursday from 12pm to 1:30pm.
Cost: $75 per session. Reduced rates are available based on need.
Group Leader: Ashley Lanaux, LPC-MHSP (Temp)
