Hi, I’m Alyssa.
Something brought you here—stress, burnout, relationship challenges, or simply a sense that life doesn’t feel quite right. You may feel stuck in old patterns, carrying heaviness you can’t fully name, or wondering who you are beneath the expectations and roles you’ve been living out. Whatever you’re holding, you don’t have to carry it alone.
Therapy offers a space to slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels more grounded and whole. Together, we’ll untangle the patterns that no longer serve you, honor the strengths that have carried you this far, and move toward greater balance and authenticity in your everyday life and relationships.
My approach is relational, compassionate, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices and integrate attachment, narrative, somatic, emotionally focused, and cognitive-behavioral techniques in my practice. This allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs while staying grounded in curiosity, care, and connection. Above all, this is your therapy—centered on your values and goals—so you can live more fully as your authentic self.
Clinical Experience
Since 2012, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients in a variety of settings, including community agencies, inpatient psychiatric care, and private practice. Along the way, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, each carrying their own unique story. What I’ve learned across ages and experiences is that unresolved emotional pain can keep us feeling stuck, even when we’re longing to move forward. While telling our stories is an important part of healing, I believe lasting change often comes from deeper work—bringing mind, body, and spirit into alignment so that our most authentic selves can emerge. My clinical experience includes supporting clients through mental health crises, mood challenges, relationship struggles, and the impact of trauma, always with compassion, grounded presence, and genuine respect for each person’s journey.
Clinical Specialties
As a licensed therapist, I am trained to diagnose and treat a wide range of concerns, from challenges in relationships to mood and trauma-related disorders. Over the years, I’ve found myself especially drawn to supporting individuals who feel weighed down by high-functioning anxiety, people-pleasing, or perfectionism—the kinds of struggles that often go unseen by others but feel overwhelming on the inside. I have a deep passion for supporting clients through relationship distress, dysfunctional family dynamics, attachment wounds, codependency, and life transitions, helping them untangle old patterns, reconnect with their values, and cultivate a greater sense of authenticity and balance in their lives. When working with couples, I enjoy guiding them through challenges such as conflict, lost intimacy, or uncertainty about the future of their relationship. I often integrate the Gottman Method, a research-backed approach that provides practical tools to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and cultivate healthier, more resilient partnerships.
