Wynne Whitley, M.A.

Counselor Specializing in Child and Adolescent Therapy

Change can be scary, but with the proper support, it’s always possible!

Hello, I'm Wynne, and I'm excited to provide you and your loved ones with a safe and supportive space for therapy and self-discovery. I’m passionate about helping individuals in their twenties, adolescents, and children overcome the challenges they face and develop the skills they need to thrive.

When working with clients in their twenties and adolescents, my approach stems from a person-centered lens, with an incorporation of other tactics based on client needs. We will work together to create a therapeutic space that best supports you!

When working with kids, my approach is a mixture of child-centered and play therapy work. Helping kids of all ages express their thoughts and feelings while discovering new and healthy ways of moving through the world. I also work closely with parents to provide guidance and support for managing their child's behavior and addressing any concerns they may have.

Clinical Experience

Before becoming a counselor, I spent many years working in mentorship roles, including tutoring and coaching children and adolescents. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the importance of guidance and focus in helping young people develop. Additionally, as a former college athlete, I have personal experience with the challenges of managing self-care, self-esteem, and the many pressures of life, making me uniquely qualified to provide compassionate and effective support to young people as they navigate the challenges of growing up.

Clinical Specialties

I am passionate about providing therapy to individuals in their twenties, adolescents, children, and their families. I work with a wide range of issues, including life stressors, phase-of-life transitions, self-exploration, identity formation, relationships, and self-worth. I know that everyone has the potential for growth and change, and I’m eager to support individuals on their journey towards self-discovery and well-being.
