Hi, I’m Stephanie.
I’m here to help you deepen your awareness of the beliefs and patterns that have been keeping you from experiencing your life in the healthiest, most fulfilling, and most meaningful ways. While I only practice evidence-based treatments, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Therapy is an art as much as a science, one that is meant to honor your unique personality, your unique story, and your specific goals. As a therapist specializing in couples and individuals, I help clients navigate the complexities of relationships with honesty, compassion, and practical tools for change. I guide partners toward deeper emotional intimacy and overall health by fostering mutual accountability, relational integrity, and the courage to speak truth with love. I also explore the dynamic tension between intimacy and autonomy—helping clients communicate authentically and rediscover themselves within their relationships, families, and the world.
Whether you're navigating conflict, disconnection, or personal challenges, I offer a direct yet compassionate space to explore what’s getting in the way—and how to move forward. In our work together, you can expect real conversations, practical tools, and a commitment to helping you create the kind of relationship—with yourself and with others—that feels authentic, secure, and alive.
Clinical Experience
As a clinician, I have worked in both non-profit and private practice settings, serving a diverse clientele seeking help for a wide range of issues. I have extensive experience in how to effectively navigate the dilemmas or conflicts often experienced by clients related to their values, relationship, parenting, family, trauma history, or life path. I’ve received extensive training in a Common Factors approach, meaning I have a deep understanding of the elements that are consistent across different therapeutic approaches, and am competent in tailoring interventions to each client’s needs.
With a former career in corporate healthcare analytics, I can better serve clients who are experiencing problems unique to high-performance and high-stress positions. As both a therapist and a retired fitness instructor, my approach to health is holistic, fully encompassing the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of my clients. Additionally, my clinical approach is enriched by my own life experience—my husband and I are parents to two young children, I’ve lost a parent to suicide, I’ve experienced divorce both as a child and as an adult- just to name a few. My clinical work is deeply rooted in my passion for understanding how our life experiences and relationship dynamics directly influence our overall psychological well-being and life satisfaction—and what we can do about it if healing, growth, or meaningful change is desired.
Clinical Specialties
My areas of special clinical focus include couple therapy, couple conflict and communication, life transitions, relationship stressors unique to parenthood, recovery from generational trauma and unhealthy family systems, spiritual or existential distress, issues of shame and self-worth, anxiety and depression.
