Hi, I’m Clare.

Welcome to therapy! This world is joyous and confusing and beautiful and painful; and I am here to accompany you as you navigate your way through it all. As your therapist, it is a privilege for me to bear witness to everyone’s unique stories. I deeply value what each client’s needs and desires are within the therapeutic space, and I practice from a place of openness and honesty. I approach every client with compassion, while also honoring client autonomy and each person’s self determination. I value humor and laughter, connection and authenticity, and I love exploring the never-ending dance of emotions that we all experience as human beings.

My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in connection. That connection could be with yourself, with others, with nature, with a passion, or with the world. My approach emphasizes the importance of safe, secure relationships—both with others and within ourselves—as the foundation for growth and change. I view therapy as a collaborative process; my role is not to judge or direct, but to walk alongside you—offering insight, support, and gentle challenge. In this space we’ll explore how your past informs your present, identify relational patterns that no longer serve you, and build necessary emotional tools.

In my approach, I work to cultivate the therapeutic relationship itself, which I consider one of the most crucial aspects of our work together. I operate from a person-centered , relational, and holistic perspective; recognizing that each individual, couple, or family is unique. This allows for the implementation of various theoretical approaches that best suit your specific needs. I also believe that people are the experts of their own experiences, and that empowerment and advocacy can be very helpful tools.

Ultimately, I am dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing space where you can explore, heal, and grow. My goal is always to show up for you to the best of my abilities.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature, reading, seeing live music, and gardening.

Clinical Experience

I have had the joy of working in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient psychiatric services, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), eating disorder treatment, and college mental health counseling. Over the past three years, I have supported adults, adolescents, and children through a wide range of mental health concerns - providing therapy to individuals, facilitating groups, and working with couples and families to strengthen connection and communication.

I work with couples across all relationship stages—helping partners strengthen connection, improve communication, and navigate challenges with greater understanding and care. My work with families is rooted in the family systems model of care.

Some of my more specific areas of clinical experience include psychosis, mania, substance use, life transitions, identity, depression/suicidality, grief/loss, trauma, co-occurring disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, gender dysphoria, and anxiety disorders.

Clinical Specialties

I welcome the opportunity to work with my clients on whatever they might bring into therapy, though my areas of special focus include individuals with mood and thought disorders, psychosis, addiction issues, grief, trauma, existential issues, identity work, relational work, parts work, and people navigating gender identity and expression.

I also specifically work from a place of exploring the known vs unknown, the conscious vs unconscious, and examining experiences like dreams and intuition.

My goal is to provide a safe space that can function as a container for our work together and allow you to process experiences, be seen and heard, and find healing and growth.
