Hi, I’m Shelby.
Something brought you here. Maybe you can name it—anxiety, relationship strain, burnout—or maybe it feels more like a vague heaviness: a sense that something isn’t working, even if you can’t quite explain why. You might feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, overwhelmed by emotion, or unsure of who you are beneath all the roles you’ve learned to play.
Whatever you’re holding, you don’t have to carry it alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, untangle what’s happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with yourself—more grounded, more whole, and more in alignment with who you truly are.
In our work together, you won’t be expected to perform or have it all figured out. I bring a steady, down-to-earth presence so you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you’re moving through grief, identity shifts, family dynamics, relationship challenges, or simply feeling exhausted from trying to keep it all together, we’ll approach it with curiosity, compassion, and care.
Clinical Experience
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the fitness world, which deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection and how the nervous system responds to stress, trauma, and healing. That background, combined with my clinical training, allows me to support both your inner world and the ways it shows up physically—through anxiety, fatigue, or emotional overwhelm.
Clinical Approach
My approach is relational and collaborative, rooted in the belief that your struggles make sense in the context of what you’ve lived through. I help clients gently explore the deeper beliefs and protective strategies that once served a purpose—but may now feel limiting or exhausting. I’m especially passionate about helping people reclaim their voice, boundaries, and self-worth—without shame.
