Hi, I’m Madeline.
The therapeutic journey is one of becoming whole and authentic. As a therapist and human, my experience of this process has been (and continues to be) one that comes with grief, joy, questioning, fear, and acceptance. Through the unknowns of becoming oneself, it is my goal as a therapist to walk with you as we navigate unknown waters together. Acting as a lighthouse in darker times and as a buoy in brighter ones, we will utilize therapeutic tools, creativity, and somatic work to navigate your path and all that it holds. With a background in theater and dance, I understand the therapeutic value of embodying one's story in a way that is physically, emotionally, and spiritually authentic. You are the holder of your narrative, and you have greater capacity than you know. Recovery and therapy are creative endeavors, and it would be a privilege to work with you as we explore and uncover a more authentic version of yourself.
Clinical Specialties
I use evidence-based interventions while honoring the fact that the client is the expert of their own bodies and experiences. My specialties include working towards self-acceptance, issues related to perfectionism, trauma and attachment issues, anxiety and panic, adults navigating parental loss or estrangement, as well as those struggling with pressures and anxieties related to sports and creative performance.
Clinical Experience
I have worked with a variety of clients, primarily in intensive inpatient and outpatient clinics, on issues ranging from substance use to bipolar disorder to panic disorder. I have worked with individuals in both dyadic and group settings, utilizing multiple modalities.
