Hi, I’m Kate.

Welcome! Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I am glad you’re here. As a therapist, I am passionate about creating a collaborative, warm, and welcoming environment where clients feel genuinely seen and valued. I strive to make the therapeutic process engaging and supportive, helping individuals learn more about themselves and face life’s challenges with confidence. When working with children, I prioritize connection through play and focused, undivided attention, using developmentally appropriate approaches to foster trust and emotional expression. At the heart of my work is a commitment to helping clients feel heard, empowered, and capable of meaningful growth.

Clinical Experience

My clinical experience as a therapist has been shaped by my work in both an integrated healthcare setting and family therapy settings, where I have supported a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. These roles have deepened my understanding of the systemic and relational factors that impact mental health and have allowed me to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in youth and children's ministry, which laid a strong foundation for my relational style, attunement to developmental needs, and commitment to creating safe, supportive environments for growth and healing.

Clinical Specialties

My clinical specialties center around supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families as they navigate a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. I have particular experience working with depression, anxiety, and trauma, helping clients build emotional literacy and regulation skills to foster resilience and healing. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals in developing a stronger sense of self-worth and guiding parents through the complexities of parenting with empathy and confidence. Whether working with a child struggling to express their emotions, a teen finding themselves, or a family navigating conflict, I aim to create a safe and collaborative space where growth and connection can flourish.
