Hi, I’m Aubry.
Therapy is a place to slow down and reconnect with yourself and with the world around you. It is an opportunity to explore the relationships and experiences that have shaped you, and to better understand how they show up in your life today. With greater awareness comes the ability to move through life with more intention, balance, and self-trust.
For adults, the process invites compassion and curiosity towards all parts of yourself. Together, we will explore long-held patterns and create space for new ways of showing up, both for yourself and in your relationships.
For couples, the work centers on nurturing connection while allowing each partner to stay rooted in themselves. There is a space to feel heard and understood, while also learning how to truly know and be known by one another.
For children and teens, therapy offers a space to express themselves authentically through play and creativity. Thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are explored through expressive arts, storytelling, and sand play.
No matter who you are, I will work to help you move through the world with a deeper sense of safety and connection in all aspects of your life.
Clinical Experience
I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including an integrative mental health clinic and a university-based community mental health center, where I supported children, couples, and families. Therefore, I have a strong understanding of the interconnectedness of all aspects of health – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual – and I use this experience to ensure that my approach nurtures the whole person. I grew up deeply involved in athletics and trained as a D1 rower for part of my college career, so I have a passion for working with high-performers and high-achievers who are seeking peace amidst high-pressure environments. In addition, my years of experience in childcare and preschool settings have given me a deep understanding of attachment and early developmental needs, insight that shapes my approach with all clients.
Clinical Specialties
While I value my work with a diverse range of client populations and presenting concerns, my areas of special interest include young adults, children and adolescents, athletes, OCD, premarital couples, infidelity, chronic illness, and trauma.
