Hi, I’m Mitchel.
Together, therapy can become both a grounding space and a journey, a place to slow down, catch your breath, and rediscover your own rhythm. I think of it as finding balance in motion. Life has its moments of feeling shaky, overwhelming, or too heavy to carry, and from my own experience I know how difficult it can be to hold those feelings alone. With patience, awareness, and curiosity, balance begins to emerge and what once felt impossible can start to flow. Therapy offers a chance to meet shame, fear, and self-doubt in new ways and to uncover the resilience that has been there all along.
My style is collaborative and approachable. I want clients to feel like they can show up fully, whether they are struggling, curious, laughing, or lost, because all of it belongs in the room. I aim to bring a presence that is creative, grounding, and real, shaped by my own experience of learning to hold both the weight of struggle and the lightness of growth. Together, we will work toward clarity, self-compassion, and a greater sense of freedom in how you live and relate.
Clinical Experience
My clinical work has included individual therapy with adolescents and adults, as well as facilitating experiential and process-oriented groups. I have supported clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and family-of-origin concerns, as well as those navigating identity exploration and life transitions. I primarily draw from Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, somatic, and experiential approaches to guide the process, while also integrating skills from DBT and CBT to provide clients with practical tools for daily challenges. Across settings, my focus is on helping clients connect more deeply with themselves, fostering clarity, balance, and self-compassion.
Clinical Specialties
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, and stress, as well as those carrying family-of-origin wounds, trauma, or the weight of relational struggles. Much of my work also focuses on identity exploration, authenticity, and life transitions, helping clients make sense of who they are and how they want to move forward. I bring particular care to supporting clients who feel easily overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. My goal is to help each person develop greater emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience, while cultivating a more compassionate relationship with themselves and the world around them.
