Hi, I’m Lydia.

You’ve spent your life caring for others, upholding expectations, and quietly holding your own ache, yet you rarely feel seen. You’re the emotional backbone in your relationships. You hold space, show up, and keep going, even when you’re overwhelmed and exhausted. And even if you’re surrounded by people, the support you need has often felt out of reach. You’re used to being the one others lean on, not the one who gets to fall apart.

Whether you’re caring for a loved one with dementia or other chronic illnesses, navigating the invisible layers of trauma and grief, or simply feeling worn down from being the “strong one” for too long, therapy can be a place where you finally exhale. You don’t have to hold it all together here. I offer a gentle, non-judgmental space to explore your story, the roles you’ve carried, and what it means to reconnect with your own needs and identity.

Outside of the therapy room, I love reading, puzzles, trying new restaurants, baking, and going on long outdoor walks with my partner and dogs. You can usually find me with a cup of tea or coffee nearby. At the heart of my work, I believe your story deserves to be witnessed.

Clinical Experience

I work with clients who are ready to move beyond coping and into a deeper understanding of their stories, patterns, and identities. My clinical background includes trauma-focused work at the Nashville Center for Trauma and Psychotherapy. My style is slow, gentle, and spacious. I know how much courage vulnerability requires, so I honor that by building trust and not rushing the therapeutic process.

I integrate Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, and my Narrative Storyboard approach. The storyboard is a visual, collaborative process that helps you map your experiences, identify themes, and make sense of the roles you’ve carried across the lifespan. It’s especially supportive for clients who feel stuck or unsure how to put their story into words.

Clinical Specialties

I specialize in supporting caregivers, helpers, and highly sensitive people who have spent years tending to others while quietly carrying their own weight. This includes dementia and chronic-illness caregivers, healthcare workers, and those who grew up in “good” families yet still felt unseen or emotionally overlooked. I also work with clients navigating anxiety, people-pleasing, relationship wounds, and the lingering impact of past trauma or relational harm.
