Hi, I’m Candice.

I am a dedicated therapist with 18 years of experience supporting youth, adults, and families through complex emotional and life challenges. I have a deep passion for the world of therapy and believe that hope is the beginning of healing. I understand that life can bring moments that feel overwhelming, isolating, or hopeless, and my goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where individuals can process their experiences and move forward with strength. I enjoy bringing creativity into the therapeutic space and centering the process around each person’s unique needs. My guiding belief is: “Where there is hope there is healing, and where there is healing there is strength.” I am also a mental health advocate who participates in panels and presentations to help educate communities about mental health. Outside the therapy room, I am a national recording artist and continue to share my love of music around the world.

Clinical Experience

I have extensive experience working with youth and adolescents in residential settings, supporting clients navigating trauma, unsafe behaviors, mental health disorders, and serious legal involvement. I spent six years providing therapy to women in the prison system, helping them manage mental health needs and adjust to life after incarceration. I also have experience providing therapy to veterans and their families, supporting them through the unique emotional and relational challenges that military life can bring. My background includes work in higher‑level treatment settings such as PHP and IOP programs, as well as years of supporting individuals, couples, and families through relationship issues, grief and loss, infertility, substance use, and family conflict. I offer flexible scheduling to make therapy accessible for clients with demanding routines.

Clinical Specialties

I work with clients throughout the lifespan and tailor my approach to each person’s needs. My areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship concerns, divorce and life transitions, grief and loss, infertility and pregnancy/infant loss, substance use, family dysfunction, veterans and reentry support for formerly incarcerated men and women.
