Hi, I’m Ryan.

You are doing hard, important work right now as you consider therapy. Meaningful healing and growth are possible regardless of your past or present. My goal as your therapist is to create an encouraging environment where we partner to unpack issues, gain insights, and work toward actionable change. My approach is non-judgmental and collaborative, adapting to your situation and goals.

Clinical Experience

I bring decades of experience to our sessions: As a child and young adult, I moved frequently across the United States and abroad, which gives me cross-cultural and third-culture perspectives.  As a former athlete and management consultant, I understand the stressors and demands of high-performance environments.  As someone who lives with chronic pain, I recognize the impact that physical limitations can have on mental health and relationships.  As a husband and father, I know the immense challenges and sacred privileges of marriage and parenthood.  And as a client of therapy myself, I have experienced the healing power of this work, and I am driven to help others on their journeys.  It takes effort to maintain and grow healthy relationships, and that effort is one of the most valuable investments you can make.  I look forward to partnering with you on this work.

Clinical Specialties

I work with individuals and couples looking to heal and grow.  I have a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing chronic illness and pain, those in high-performance sports and business environments, and families in all life stages.  My goal is to help my clients navigate their most pressing challenges and identify paths to healthy resolutions.  I help clients access untapped feelings and thoughts, set healthy boundaries, adopt helpful patterns, and improve communication to better their daily lives.
