Hi, I’m Lily.

Being a kid isn’t easy. There are big emotions, friendships, school, family changes, and so much growing and figuring things out along the way. When things feel overwhelming, having the right support can make a big difference. My goal is to create a space where children and teens feel safe, understood, and comfortable being themselves.

I work with children and adolescents who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, and life transitions. Maybe your child is having a hard time managing big emotions, pulling away from the people they care about, adjusting to change, or carrying something they do not quite know how to talk about. Together, we can gently explore what they are experiencing and help them develop coping skills and a stronger understanding of themselves.

Clinical Experience

My clinical experience has included working in both healthcare and nonprofit settings, with a focus on supporting individuals through difficult and often overwhelming experiences.

My work at a child advocacy center has been especially focused on children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. I provided trauma-focused therapy and helped young clients process difficult experiences, understand their emotions, develop coping skills, and feel more confident navigating what they were going through.

Clinical Approach

I believe that feeling comfortable and understood is an important part of creating a meaningful therapeutic relationship. I take the time to get to know each child as an individual, understand their world, and meet them where they are to build therapy around their unique personality, needs, strengths, and experiences.

I use developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed approaches, incorporating conversation, play, creative activities, and practical coping skills to help children and teens understand their emotions and work through difficult experiences.  I value working alongside parents and caregivers to provide support, guidance, and reassurance while giving children and teens the space to develop their own voice and independence. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where your child can be themselves, feel heard without judgment, and discover their own ability to cope, grow, and move forward.
